Smashing social media design and content creation

You can create content in several formats like- text-based, post with a image, post with a gif, video content and carousels.

Text-based or text-based post along with image/gif can be used to educate as well as entertain the audience. It is advised to keep such post short as social media users doesn't really have time to read diaries😅.

Here's what graphics can do for your blogs:

It can enhance the look of your page.

Pick some interesting lines or important info. from your blog posts and turn them into graphics so it can be easily shared on social media to grab attention or drive traffic.

Royalty free photos are easily available but they might not look unique as that same image is available to several other people.

If you write long form posts then put beautifully designed graphic in between so the page don't look crowded with words.

Focusing the camera on the screen and adding ones own audio.

Focus on the hook (first line)

Carousel should look attractive. It also depends on the kind of work you do. For example a writers can make simple carousel 'coz it works for them but if you are a designer make sure to show your creativity.

Share valuable information. Carousels can be used to break lengthy content into small pieces so it can be digested easily.

Use simple language. Avoid jargon and abbreviations.

For example- you can use the same reel or you can covert a text-based post into a reel and repurpose it on Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok. Don't underestimate the power of repurposing content, it really works(PLM is one real life example)✨ The above carousel is made in such a way that it can be used in LinkedIn as well as Instagram.

PS: this doesn't mean you should not create fresh content. Don't forget that we have to give others a reason to follow us or appreciate our content. Our aim is to build a strong social media presence not to bore the the audience.
