Icon Pack Animation & Interactive Wordmark for Halaska Website

Overview

When Chris Halaska (@chalaska) posted a set of custom-designed icons asking, “Who’s the best in the business to animate these?”, I jumped in with a Rive-based motion response.
That sparked a direct collab to animate the full icon set for his Halaska Studio website — with a clear brief: keep the motion subtle, brand-aligned, and production-ready for web. We also tested early iterations live in Framer to ensure the .riv files would integrate smoothly in real-time.
By the end of the first stage, the animated icons were live on the homepage — crisp, expressive, and enriching the way Halaska communicates services like Product Design, UX research, Mobile, MVPs, and more.

The Bonus Round

A few weeks later, Chris reached out again with an idea:
“Can we animate the Halaska wordmark?"
I was already thinking in something around that direction. The result was a responsive interactive wordmark in the Halaska Footer Website — animated in Rive to be lightweight and brand-cohesive, with subtle ‘liquid/magnetic’ motion tied to user interaction.
