Context

New York-based photographer Zayira approached me to create a portfolio website that would not only showcase her work but elevate it. Straddling the worlds of editorial and artistic projects, she needed a digital presence that will position her, not just as a editorial photographer, but also as an artist.

Homepage

For the website’s homepage, a concise image collection features 16 images that give a sense of the core of Zayira’s aesthetics and work. As the user scrolls down, they transit into the overview section, a structured gallery list where users can delve into each individual project.
Overview on Homepage with Digital Walkthrough
To provide more context to Zayira’s recent artistic work, which requires combining text and images, I also designed a dedicated segment of the website that gives users a digital walkthrough of her recent exhibition.

Archive

The archive is like a digital playground where users are able to immerse themselves in Zayira’s diverse body of work. It was designed to be like a immersive colorscape.
