Thank heavens you’re here! Because I have to show you something. Grab a drink, and let’s cover some basics. First - my name is Misha. I’m a creative director and a filmmaker for VeryVertical. VeryVertical does shows instead of ads. For the beauty start up Function of Beauty we wanted to tell the story of how it all started, and how it's going. We call this "the founder's story" format.

In this format we can go as serious or as silly as we want. The most important part is to combine a compelling story of humble beginnings and a ravishing present. In this brand video, Function of Beauty founder Zahir said everything he needed for a Long-Form YouTube video, a separate education video, and a bunch of short-form paid ads.
