Calamitous Ember is a sci-fi webmanga following Ellious, a young man raised by space pirates, facing the horrors of a universe at war.
I was hired as lead artist for one year. Everything visual went through my hands.
My Role
The work covered the entire visual production pipeline: storyboard, visual storytelling (script to page), character and prop design, color, covers, and effects compositing. I also actively contributed as a proofreader, providing narrative, critical, and editorial feedback on the script.
During that period, 5 to 6 full chapters were produced. Of those, 1 chapter and 1 OneShot (adapted for a contest) were published on Manga Plus Creators.
Current Status
The project is on hiatus due to lack of funding.
