Hi, here is my submission for the Mobbin x Contra challenge, where I used Mobbin as a research tool. 

The goal was to research and break down how the best dining apps actually work, while researching I focused on specific moments in the experience:

— How users discover restaurants   — How they decide   — How they commit to a reservation  

Looking at apps like OpenTable, Resy, Zomato and Tock through Mobbin, I extracted patterns like: • time-slot chips → reduce decision friction   • progressive disclosure → simplify booking steps   • availability signalling → guide urgency without pressure  

But what stood out was this: Most of these apps optimize for speed. So I asked. What happens if we optimize for anticipation instead?
