High-Traffic Lottery & Payment Platform (Laravel)

The Core Problem: A legacy lottery platform serving Ghana and Nigeria needed a major system upgrade, multi-currency support via mobile money, and a new recurring subscription model — all without causing downtime for active users.

The Technical Solution: Successfully executed a complex live upgrade from Laravel 7 to Laravel 11.

• Payment Infrastructure: Integrated the Flutterwave gateway for seamless cross-border mobile money payments.

• Business Logic: Built complex subscription gating and a custom winners module.

• Localization: Implemented IP-based currency detection with automated server-side FX conversion.
