As part of a commercial based project for class, I was tasked to take products photos for a small business in my local area. I chose SoHum because it stands out from the other candle brands. Their branding is dark, cozy, and focuses on lighting with intention. So I wanted to capture that in my work with them. SoHum was looking to have product photos taken to promote their spring product line. They also wanted to include brighter lighting and colours, while still conveying that dark cozy feel. These shoot includes both prop-based photography and lifestyle photography.
