Nook Coffee is a bold and character-driven coffee brand designed to create instant emotional connection.
This project goes beyond logo creation it is a complete visual identity system built around one clear promise:
Love at First Look.
From the first glance, the brand captures attention through expressive typography, a warm color palette, and a distinctive illustrated character that brings personality to the brand.

The Challenge

In today’s crowded coffee scene, many cafés struggle to build a recognizable identity. Some rely on safe, familiar visuals, while others focus on aesthetics without creating a real sense of connection. For Nook Coffee, the challenge was to craft a brand that immediately captures attention while still feeling warm, approachable, and human.
The goal was to develop a distinctive visual identity that could stand out in a competitive market, attract a younger audience, and remain flexible across packaging, merchandise, and digital platforms. The brand needed to feel memorable from the very first interaction.

The Concept

Nook Coffee is built around the idea that great brands create a feeling before anything else. Inspired by the phrase “Love at First Look,” the concept focuses on the moment when a brand instantly catches someone’s eye and sparks curiosity.
To express this idea, the identity introduces a playful mascot that embodies the spirit of the café. The character gives the brand a friendly presence and helps transform the café into more than just a place to grab coffee—it becomes a brand with personality.
The mascot acts as a visual storyteller, allowing Nook to communicate warmth, humor, and charm across different brand experiences.

The Identity

The visual identity is bold, playful, and welcoming. Rounded typography, a vibrant red palette, and a distinctive mascot work together to create a brand that feels energetic and approachable. The character brings personality to the identity, appearing across packaging and merchandise to build recognition. The result is a memorable visual system designed to capture attention and reflect the brand promise: Love at First Look.
