Illustration and product design for SunnySide

SunnySide is an eco-friendly stationary brand focused on creating colourful designs inspired by nature. The core product range includes greetings cards, notepads and hand-bound notebooks.

All the products are designed and made by me in my studio. This has gone from being a personal project to opening a shop once a year and offering my products to wholesalers through Faire.

All illustrations are created in Procreate to add more texture and a hand-drawn feeling to every design. They are then prepared in Adobe Illustrated and printed and assembled in our studio.

The products are made in small batches with a big focus on seasonal collections.

Being involved in every aspect, from print colours to paper quality and concept development, I developed a range of skills that help me understand common pitfalls of print projects.

Working closely with a printer, both for this project and countless clients means I can quickly adapt print files depending on the unique requirements.

After creating collections for the past 2 years, the brand is quickly developing a defined identity as a positive, whimsical and eco-friendly option for stationary lovers.
