A word game built around one tense minute. You spin a wheel, get a letter, and race the timer to fill five categories – city, country, profession, animal, fruit. Every correct word gives you 10 points.
The design problem here was speed of reading, not decoration. A player has less than a minute, so the screen must answer three questions at a glance: which letter did I get, how much time is left, and how many fields are still empty.
Process:
Structure first. I mapped the full loop in wireframes – menu, rules, round, result – with no styling and one flat tone. The layout was settled before any color existed.
Custom assets. The spin wheel and the app icon are built by hand in Figma, not stock. The wheel is the one thing a player looks at every single round, so it carries the brand.
UI and states. A dark base lets the colored wheel and the score chips come forward. Win and lose share one layout and differ only by color, so the result reads in a second.
