Overview

Kinoud is a network of creatives that empowers their professional careers. The app it's just the space that allows every creative to connect, but Kinoud goes beyond an app, it's a community of creatives that allows creatives to connect and grow proffesionally together in a smoothly and simple way.
My roles: UX/UI designer, Brand strategist, Art director.

The challenge

Kinoud is a social networking app for the creative industry, therefore, its success depends on connecting with users and building loyalty and trust with them. So it's essential to create a solid brand that builds loyalty and generate genuine connections in the creative industry. The key is to create an space where creatives can build those connections and that's the main product: Design a mobile app that meets the professional and work needs of creatives. Finally a 360º campaign will be developed in order to attract early adopters to the app.

Project approach

The ultimate goal is to launch a product and attract new users to register in the app. Then build user loyalty through branding by providing value, taking care of the early adopters and maintain the brand's presence in the media where the target audience is found, which in this case is mainly at in-person events but also on social media.

Strategic decisions

Build a brand that really connects with the target audience and is scalable for long-term.
UX research in order to understand better the users needs.
Define the most important userflows.
Design a user-centered app that fully meets their needs (based on the UX research) and is aligned with the brand visuals in order to create a strong connection between the brand and the users.
Go beyond the digital. Create in-person events to help users to create stronger connections and stand out from the competition.
Create a 360º campaign aligned with the brand to attract early adopters.

The solution

Build a consistent, coherent visual identity aligned with brand values, with the aim of conveying and connecting deeply with the target audience. As well as create a mobile app that is visually connected to the brand and 100% user-centered, with the aim of meeting their needs. In addition, a 360 campaign will be carried out to strategically promote the brand.
