Supplier Relationship Management Application for Moody's Analytics

Project Overview

I contributed to the development of a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) application for Moody's Analytics. This application was designed to provide Moody’s with valuable insights into their supplier relationships, enhancing their ability to manage and optimize these relationships effectively.

Objectives

- Gain Insights: Provide Moody’s with detailed insights into their supplier relationships.

- Enhance Management: Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supplier relationship management.

- Leverage Technology: Utilize modern technologies to ensure a robust and scalable application.

Tech Stack

- Typescript: For building robust and maintainable frontend and backend components.

- Python: For backend processing and data analysis.

- PostgreSQL: As the relational database for managing supplier data.

- AWS (APIG/Cognito/Lambda): For secure, scalable, and serverless application deployment.

Process

1. Requirements Gathering:

- Collaborated with stakeholders to understand the specific needs and requirements.

- Defined key features and functionalities to be included in the application.

2. Design and Architecture:

- Designed the system architecture to ensure scalability and performance.

- Created data models and database schemas in PostgreSQL.

3. Development:

- Implemented frontend and backend components using Typescript.

- Developed backend services and data processing logic in Python.

- Utilized AWS services (API Gateway, Cognito, Lambda) for secure and serverless application deployment.

4. Testing and Optimization:

- Conducted thorough testing to ensure functionality, security, and performance.

- Optimized the application for efficient data retrieval and processing.

Results
