Case Study: Aether

Website Redesign in a 10-Day Sprint.

1. Overview

Aether is [one line on what Aether does and who it’s for]. Their website wasn’t keeping up with the product. It looked dated, the messaging didn’t land, and the design didn’t reflect the quality of what the team had built.
We rebuilt the website from scratch in 10 days. The sprint covered a UX audit, wireframes, design exploration, high-fidelity screens and iteration rounds. The result was a major visual upgrade that makes Aether look as strong as its product.

2. The Challenge

When Aether came to us, the website had a few clear problems:
An outdated visual identity. The site didn’t feel modern or premium enough for the space Aether competes in.
Weak hierarchy. Key messages and calls to action were buried, so visitors had to work to understand the offering.
Inconsistent design language. Typography, spacing and components varied from section to section, and the site felt stitched together.
A tight timeline. The team needed a complete redesign quickly, without cutting corners on process.

3. Our Role & Deliverables

We owned the full redesign, end to end:
UX Audit. Reviewed the existing site section by section to find friction points, messaging gaps and visual inconsistencies.
Information Architecture. Restructured the page flow so the story unfolds in a logical order.
Wireframes. Mapped the new layout and content structure before any visual work began.
Redesign Directions. Explored several visual directions and aligned with the client on one.
High-Fidelity Design. Designed every page of the new website, pixel-perfect and ready for development.
Iterations. Ran feedback rounds with the Aether team to refine the details.

4. Process: How the 10 Days Worked

a. Days 1–2: UX Audit & Discovery We started by tearing down the existing website. We mapped every section, flagged usability issues, reviewed competitor sites and documented what was working and what wasn’t. This gave us a clear brief before we touched any design.
b. Days 3–4: Information Architecture & Wireframes Next we restructured the content. We rebuilt the page flow around a clear story: what Aether is, why it matters, how it works, and why to trust it. Low-fidelity wireframes let us lock the structure with the client early, so later rounds focused on refinement rather than rework.

c. Days 5–6: Redesign Directions With structure locked, we explored [2–3] visual directions covering typography, color, layout style and component treatment. We presented them side by side, the Aether team picked a direction, and we moved straight into production.
d. Days 7–9: High-Fidelity Design This is where the website came together. We designed every page in high fidelity and built a consistent system of typography, spacing and reusable components, so the site feels cohesive and is easy to extend.
e. Day 10: Iterations & Handoff We ran final feedback rounds, refined details across breakpoints, and handed over production-ready files.

5. Results

Complete redesign in 10 days. We took the site from audit to final design in a single sprint.
A major visual upgrade. The new site looks modern and premium, and finally matches the quality of Aether’s product.
Clearer storytelling. Restructured hierarchy and messaging help visitors understand Aether faster.
A scalable design system. Consistent components and styles make future pages faster to build.

6. Value Delivered

For a flat fee of $1,500, we delivered a complete website redesign in 10 days. That covered the full process from UX audit to wireframes to final design, not just a visual refresh, and gave Aether a website that matches the product they’ve built.

7. Final Thoughts

This project showed that speed and quality aren’t trade-offs when the process is tight. A structured 10-day sprint, with the audit first, structure next and visuals last, let us move fast without guesswork. For Aether, the redesign gave the brand the presence it deserved.
