Audio Engineering Internship at Fonoprint Studios

I completed a 3-month internship at Fonoprint Studios, one of Italy’s most iconic recording studios, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a world of high-end audio production. It wasn’t just a technical experience — it was creatively and personally transformative.

During my time there, I learned what it truly means to deliver professional, high-quality audio products, and gained a deep understanding of how a AAA-level studio operates — from signal flow and session management to studio etiquette and communication with artists.

I worked hands-on editing songs, recording vocals, drums, and acoustic pianos, assisting engineers during mixing sessions with top-tier clients, and helping transfer archival analog recordings from tape into the digital world via Pro Tools.

Being in that environment every day, surrounded by experienced professionals and high-level music, fueled my motivation and sharpened my attention to detail. It taught me not only how to work faster and more precisely, but how to listen better — to the music, to the process, and to the people in the room.

It was one of the most inspiring and formative experiences I’ve had in music so far.
