About the Company
TechUptodate creates flexible Framer templates designed to help businesses and independent professionals launch polished websites without depending on traditional development workflows.
Yogagrove was created for yoga studios, Pilates businesses, mindfulness centres, independent instructors, and wellness coaches that need a calm and professional digital presence. The template gives wellness brands the tools to promote classes, introduce instructors, publish educational content, and guide visitors towards booking.
Project Overview
We designed Yogagrove as a complete Framer website template for modern yoga and wellness businesses.
The goal was to create a digital experience that felt like the practice itself: calm, grounded, welcoming, and unhurried. At the same time, the website needed to provide a clear commercial structure for discovering classes, reviewing schedules, comparing pricing, meeting instructors, reading studio content, and booking a first session.
This was not designed as a simple landing page. It was developed as a scalable website system that wellness businesses can customize, manage, and publish without writing code.
Project Objective
Yoga and wellness businesses need websites that create an immediate emotional connection while still communicating practical information clearly.
The primary goals were:
Create a calm and trustworthy visual identity
Help visitors find suitable classes quickly
Make schedules, pricing, and booking options easy to understand
Present instructors and qualifications professionally
Support studios and independent instructors with one adaptable system
Enable CMS-powered class and journal management
Deliver a fully responsive and accessible Framer experience
Allow complete customization without developer support
Scope of Work
This was an end-to-end template design and Framer development project:
Wellness industry research and user-flow planning
Sitemap and page-structure development
UI/UX design direction
Responsive Framer development
Reusable component and section creation
Filterable class-directory setup
CMS architecture for classes and journal content
Class detail and article template development
Pricing, schedule, instructor, testimonial, and FAQ sections
Contact form and studio-location experience
Booking-ready calls to action
SEO, accessibility, and responsive optimization
Framer Marketplace preparation and publishing
The Challenge
Most wellness websites need to achieve two very different goals.
First, they need to communicate an emotional feeling. Visitors should immediately sense calm, warmth, safety, and trust.
Second, they need to help people complete practical tasks such as choosing a class, checking the weekly schedule, comparing memberships, understanding what to bring, and reserving a place.
A website that focuses only on aesthetics can make important information difficult to find. A website that focuses only on functionality can feel generic and disconnected from the wellness experience.
The challenge was to balance emotional storytelling with clear navigation, structured content, and visible conversion paths.
The template also needed enough flexibility to work for both a small independent instructor and a larger studio with several teachers, classes, schedules, and content categories.
Client Goals
To make the template commercially useful, the project needed:
A warm and editorial visual experience
Clear class-discovery and booking journeys
Flexible layouts for solo instructors and studio teams
Reusable sections that could be customized quickly
CMS-powered classes and educational content
Mobile-first layouts for people booking on the go
Strong accessibility and readability
Simple content management inside Framer
A structure that could scale as the business grows
Project Process
1. Research & Planning
We began by identifying the information visitors normally need before joining a yoga or wellness studio.
The experience needed to answer questions such as:
Is this studio suitable for beginners?
Which class matches my level or goal?
Who will be teaching me?
What does each class involve?
When are classes available?
Can I practise online?
How much does membership cost?
How do I book my first session?
These questions shaped the content hierarchy and conversion journey.
2. Sitemap & CMS Architecture
We planned the website structure before building the visual system.
The template includes:
Home
About
Classes
Class Detail
Journal
Journal Post
Contact
Privacy Policy
404
The CMS architecture supports reusable class pages and journal articles. This allows users to publish new content while maintaining consistent layouts, spacing, typography, and page structure.
3. UI/UX Design Direction
We developed a calm, editorial design language that reflects the atmosphere of a modern wellness studio.
The visual direction included:
Warm natural photography
Earthy green and neutral colours
Spacious typography and layouts
Soft visual contrast
Rounded interface elements
Gentle section transitions
Clear but non-aggressive calls to action
Consistent spacing that gives the content room to breathe
The homepage begins with emotional positioning before moving into common visitor problems, the studio story, teaching method, available classes, benefits, instructors, testimonials, pricing, FAQs, and the final booking invitation.
4. Class Discovery Experience
One of the most important parts of the project was helping users choose the right class.
We created a filterable class directory that allows visitors to browse by:
Experience level
Yoga style
Class format
Session frequency
Session duration
The website presents classes such as Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Hatha, Deep Yin, Restore & Rest, Prenatal Yoga, and Stillness & Breath.
Each class can connect to a dedicated CMS-powered detail page containing its description, benefits, schedule, level, teacher, imagery, and booking action.
5. Schedule, Pricing & Booking Flow
The classes page includes a structured weekly schedule that helps visitors understand when each practice is available.
Pricing is divided into three clear options:
Drop-in class
Monthly membership
Ten-class pack
Each pricing option communicates its intended audience, included benefits, commitment level, and booking action.
The template also includes pre-styled booking support for services such as Cal.com, Momence, and Mindbody. This allows studios to connect their preferred booking platform without rebuilding the surrounding interface.
6. Instructor & Trust-Building Content
Wellness services depend heavily on personal trust.
We created dedicated sections for:
Founder story
Studio philosophy
Teaching principles
Instructor profiles
Instructor specializations
Professional qualifications
Testimonials
Studio environment
Frequently asked questions
The About page presents the studio’s values through three principles: ease over effort, every body belongs, and presence before posture.
It also includes qualifications such as Yoga Alliance registration, 500-hour teacher certification, trauma-informed training, prenatal and postnatal qualifications, and current first-aid credentials.
7. Journal & Content System
We added a CMS-powered journal to support educational content, studio updates, workshops, and organic search visibility.
Journal categories include:
Insights
Workshops
Announcements
Studio news
Beginner guidance
Mindfulness education
The structure allows users to publish new articles while automatically maintaining consistent cards, category labels, author information, dates, summaries, and article layouts.
8. Responsive Development & Quality Assurance
The entire template was developed responsively in Framer.
We reviewed:
Desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts
Typography scaling
Touch-friendly navigation
Form usability
Class-filter behaviour
CMS template consistency
Image responsiveness
CTA visibility
Accessibility and colour contrast
Scroll and appear effects
Content readability across breakpoints
The template was then prepared for publication on Framer Marketplace.
The Solution
