DotMetrics is a retro icon and pixel animation playground built for designers, creators, and anyone who loves motion.

It started as a tool I needed for my own workflow. I wanted a faster way to create dot-grid icons, experiment with retro aesthetics, and bring them to life with animation without jumping between multiple tools.

With DotMetrics, you can:

• Create icons using a customizable dot grid • Apply built-in animation effects like Typewriter, Random Pop, Blink, Scanline, and more • Preview animations instantly • Export your work in multiple formats including SVG, Animated SVG, GIF, and Lottie • Use the assets directly in websites, apps, branding projects, and creative experiments

The goal was simple: make creating retro-inspired animated graphics feel fun, fast, and accessible.

Whether you're designing a nostalgic interface, a loading state, a micro-interaction, or just experimenting with motion, DotMetrics gives you a lightweight canvas to explore ideas quickly.
