Conversational Mechanics: Elevating Pitch Decks

The Challenge

A client needed a pitch deck that could hold its own in high-stakes deal conversations. Their existing materials were flat, text-heavy, and failed to create the kind of visual momentum that keeps investors and partners engaged. The goal: a deck that doesn't just present information, but drives the conversation forward.

The Approach

I built the deck around the concept of kinetic contrast, using deliberate tension between typography, spacing, and visual weight to guide the viewer's eye and control pacing.
Discovery: Aligned on the client's core message, target audience, and deal objectives. Identified the 3-4 key moments in the deck that needed to hit hardest.
Visual Direction: Established a bold, modern aesthetic with strong typographic hierarchy and generous whitespace. Every slide was designed to breathe.
Layout Architecture: Built each slide as a self-contained argument. Data points were distilled into clean visuals. Text was stripped to essentials.
Kinetic Flow: Created rhythm across the deck by alternating high-density data slides with minimal statement slides, keeping attention locked in.

The Result

The final deck gave the client a polished, professional tool built specifically for deal conversations. Clean layouts, sharp data visualization, and a narrative structure that moves naturally from problem to opportunity to ask.
A presentation designed not just to be seen, but to close.
