Translating a premium biotech brand into a high-performance Webflow experience
Overview
When Bunsen Studio partnered with Thalia Therapeutics to launch a new digital presence, my role was to transform their visual direction into a polished, production-ready Webflow experience.
Working from the approved designs, I developed a responsive three-page website that balances technical performance with elegant interactions, ensuring the final experience feels as refined as the science behind the company.
Built using Webflow and GSAP, the website combines clean development practices with purposeful motion to create a digital experience that is both modern and credible.

About the Client
Thalia Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing innovative RNA-based therapeutics and proprietary delivery technologies for oncology and cardiovascular disease.
Their work focuses on advancing RNA medicines by solving one of the industry's biggest challenges: effective delivery. As the company continues to evolve its research pipeline, it needed a website capable of presenting complex scientific information with clarity while reinforcing investor confidence and scientific credibility.

My Role
This project was completed in collaboration with Bunsen Studio, who led the branding, visual identity, and user interface design.
My responsibility was focused entirely on development.
That included:
Translating the approved Figma designs into Webflow
Developing a fully responsive experience
Implementing GSAP-powered interactions
Ensuring accessibility and performance
Preparing and launching the production website
Rather than redesigning the experience, my role was to preserve every design detail while ensuring the final product felt smooth, performant, and reliable.
Development Approach
Every decision during development was guided by one principle:
Build something that's as clean behind the scenes as it feels on the surface.
Pixel-perfect implementation
Every layout, spacing system, typography scale, and visual hierarchy from the design was carefully recreated inside Webflow.
The objective wasn't simply matching screenshots.
It was preserving the design language across every viewport.
Responsive by default
The site was developed with responsiveness built into every component rather than treated as an afterthought.
Layouts were refined across desktop, tablet, and mobile to maintain consistency regardless of screen size.
Mobile Mockups
Purposeful motion
Motion was introduced selectively using GSAP to support the user journey rather than distract from it.
Subtle transitions, reveal animations, and scrolling interactions help create a premium feel while keeping attention on the content.
Page Load Animation
Performance first
Scientific and investor-focused websites often contain dense information.
Keeping the experience lightweight was therefore just as important as visual polish.
The site was optimized to deliver:
fast loading
smooth scrolling
responsive interactions
maintainable architecture

The Result
The completed website provides Thalia Therapeutics with a digital presence that reflects the precision of its research and the maturity of its brand.
Rather than relying on visual complexity, the experience communicates confidence through clarity, thoughtful motion, and careful attention to detail.
The final build faithfully delivers Bunsen Studio's creative vision while giving the client a performant, maintainable Webflow website that is ready to evolve alongside the company.

What I Learned
Projects like Thalia Therapeutics reinforce the importance of strong collaboration between design and development.
When the visual direction is already exceptional, development becomes an exercise in craftsmanship—making every interaction, animation, and layout feel intentional while ensuring the experience performs just as well as it looks.
Building this project was a reminder that the best development work often goes unnoticed. Users simply experience a website that feels effortless.
