Fantasy Noir Detective Game Portraits | Illustration

A portrait set I painted to celebrate 2 years of a fantasy-noir-detective-themed D&D game. Each one of these pieces encapsulates the story's 5 main characters - the Pugilist, the Smuggler, the Justiciar, the Seeker, and the Bureaucrat. Considering the game is set in a 1920s/1930s-esque metropolitan city with burgeoning magical technology, I opted for an Art Nouveau-inspired style of illustration that emphasizes bold outlines of form and softly painted details.
