Poetry Book Design

Horizon is a book cover design for a theoretical book of poetry by Rudy Francisco. Created entirely in InDesign and Illustrator, this cover portrays the hopefulness and confidence that is offered in all of Francisco’s work. The heavy use of black and dark grey in this design was chosen to emphasize the light, a theme that is common for the poet.

The light draws the viewer in, while the poem featured on the back cover invites them to stay.
