Logos for a Modern Audience

Netflix Muslim ERG

Netflix's internal Muslim Employee Resource Group was on a mission to find a Muslim artist to help them revamp their logo. Their specifications included incorporating the traditional Netflix look and feel to carry over the organizations identity, as well as including recognizable elements to anyone that identifies as Muslim. The faith transcends ethnic groups, so this was a key emphasis to not focus too much on one Muslim identity versus others. We worked together to visualize the Arabic letter "noon" as a replacement for the iconic Netflix "N," as the Arabic alphabet is considered a foundation of the religion. I carried over the brand coloring and also mimicked the recognizable folds of the lettering into this new iteration.

Exizia

Exizia is an ethical athleisure company made by women for women. The company promotes exercise to feel good, sustain mental health, and live a happy life. I was approached by the founder to help create a logo that represented the energetic nature of her brand while being a recognizable, easy-to-print symbol on their clothing.

Darzee

Darzee is the Urdu word for "tailor." This brand was all about incorporating Pakistani textiles into modern wear with their colorful and intricately printed vests. We worked together to visualize a bird as the main logo mark to symbolize the expansion of east-meets-west fashion paired together with bold lettering to stand out.
