Payoneer's cross-border payments platform empowers businesses, online sellers, and freelancers to pay and get paid globally as easily as locally.
I've been an active user of Payoneer for the last seven years. I loved their services and global payment features. However, they didn't have any mobile applications until last year. I was happy to hear that news, but I found some difficulties and missing features as a regular user. It was an opportunity to study the application more deeply from both a designer's and a regular user's perspective.
After some difficulties using the existing app in the Play Store, I decided to create a conceptual project to improve the app. I redesigned their existing app and, in the process, removed all the hassles and friction in the system.
To further improve the application's functionality, I conducted a survey among my colleagues, friends, and clients. It turned out other users were facing the same problems. A major issue was the multiple sign-in processes during the sending and receiving of money.
The methodology I followed included; competitor analysis, user research, user interviews, root cause analysis, product flow, wireframes, and user interface design.
