What if your website could make people feel like they’re already missing out?
A few months ago, I worked on a landing page for Wavy Travels, and the brief was simple:
“Make people want to book their next adventure with us.”
So I leaned into one of the oldest tricks in the book: FOMO.
Instead of using images just to make the page look good, I used photos from previous trips to show visitors what they could have experienced and what they could be missing if they sit out the next one.
Because for a travel brand, the right image doesn't just show a destination.
It sells the experience.
Every visual on a conversion-focused website should have a job.
And when the goal is bookings, sometimes showing people what they’re missing is more powerful than telling them what they’ll get.
