High school cheerleaders make a difference!

The high school cheer team in Stuart helps a needy family before every home game. They band together and all donate a few items and bring them to school every Friday. These girls do this as a way of growing community awareness that everyone can help in some way and because being a cheerleader means that they represent the community and want it to grow.
Some of the community recently questioned why the cheer squad has such a big budget. They said it was ridiculous because they were there to support the football team.
These teens wake up at five am every day and work out and sometimes do not go to bed until after ten thirty at night supporting the football team. I believe we should thank these teens in a big way and recognize them for the deeds that they have been doing instead of defunding the team. What do you think?
