Shinery Platform – Empowering East Asian Creators

I led the design and development of Shinery, an editorial-style web platform crafted to uplift and showcase South Asian creators. The platform integrates a creator fund, publication pipeline, and a suite of community tools to provide holistic support and recognition for creative talent.

From concept to deployment, my focus was on blending bold visual storytelling with a clean, modern user experience. I utilized vibrant color palettes and strong, modular typography to evoke cultural identity while maintaining digital clarity. Every element—from the homepage to in-depth creator spotlights—was developed to celebrate both individual voices and community achievements.

Throughout the process, I prioritized accessibility and scalability, ensuring the platform could grow with its audience and adapt to various content types. User testing highlighted how the design made discovery intuitive and participation seamless. The final platform equips South Asian creators with authentic visibility, financial support, and a space to connect and collaborate.
