Book Cover Illustration for 'Obscene Paradise'

An illustration-based book cover that was created for a romance novel.

After outlining the sketch, I then transferred it to Photoshop. I further developed the concept for this project, which was later fleshed out by adding additional details to the illustration. Later I focused on perfecting the colours and shading while considering the light source. Finally, I added the last finishing touches to the illustration, which was then followed by creating the fitting typography for this piece.

Overall, the intention for this project was to make the cover aesthetically pleasing, which was accomplished by using specific colour combinations, yet leaving some eccentricity to shine through, which in the end, all aligned with the book title.
