$5M National Media Production Campaign

The Move with the Mayor Vaccination Initiative was a national media production campaign, working with 125 cities across the US. I was the project lead, responsible for planning the project and identifying strategies to measure progress. I was also the producer for the entire media creation process.

This project performed at 208% of the original goal. I produced 236 video assets in about 16 months. The contract was for a total of 20 months, and the 4 months at the beginning were dedicated to project management and hiring a team.

Through this project I worked with cities all over the US and I was able to attend the 2023 US Conference of Mayors Annual Meeting, learning about the unique issues that municipalities face that other types of organizations are not dealing with.

Here is a playlist of the video assets. These videos were made to brand guidelines for the client and the project, which had a specific subset of branding applied. I wrote a style guide for this project, to ensure the team could produce different assets with consistency.

I utilized a continuous quality improvement approach, taking feedback and integrating it in as close to real time as possible. This is similar to an Agile framework, because the budget and schedule were non-negotiable, leaving only the "how" to be adjusted.

I used CDC and Census Bereau Data to identify cities that met the requirements of the project funding, and used this as a starting point to plan the project.

I helped create a custom SalesForce build. I designed the measures and inputs/outputs for the project, and then worked with another consultant to build the infrastructure in SalesForce.

Once all of the infrastructure was in place, video production started. I created a pipeline to manage video production, which allowed me to supervise the production of dozens of videos simultaneously with an international production team.

Lifecycle analysis allowed me to provide the client with a model for future projects. This supported more accurate budgeting and planning for future media projects. Lifecycle analysis also allows me to see what and where the barriers are, and make real-time adjustments.

I also prepared and presented progress reports monthly. I met with representatives from each major partner for this project to show visual representations of progress and get feedback.

This project required experience with federal contracts, project management, team leadership and data analysis.
