SPITZWEG COFFEE ROASTRY

The objective of this design project was to create a launch trio for an imaginary coffee product, which included package design, a magazine spread advertisement, and a dedicated website. The goal was to captivate the audience's attention and generate interest in the new coffee flavors.
Inspiration
For this project, I drew inspiration from Carl Spitzweg's renowned painting, "The Butterfly Hunter." The painting featured a whimsical scene with various objects that could serve as unique design elements. By incorporating elements from this artwork, I aimed to create a visually engaging and memorable design.
Package Design
To create an eye-catching package design, I decided to feature different Carl Spitzweg characters on each coffee bean package. Each character represented a specific coffee flavor, adding a touch of playfulness and personality to the overall design. Additionally, I carefully selected famous quotes from the origin countries of the coffee beans, printed on the packages, to enhance the cultural connection and create a sense of authenticity.

Magazine Spread Advertisement
The magazine spread advertisement played a crucial role in capturing the audience's attention and conveying the essence of the coffee product. To achieve this, I utilized the concept of extending lights from the eyes of the character in the painting. These lights were strategically directed towards the featured coffee product, creating a visual path that guided the viewer's gaze to the main focal point. The composition of the advertisement aimed to evoke a sense of intrigue and entice readers to explore the coffee flavors further.
Website Design
The website served as a platform to announce the introduction of the new coffee flavors and encourage visitors to make a purchase. In line with the overall theme, the website design incorporated elements from Carl Spitzweg's painting, such as the whimsical atmosphere and playful characters. Through an intuitive and user-friendly interface, visitors could easily navigate the website, explore the different coffee flavors, and place their orders. To further engage the audience, I included captivating visuals, informative descriptions of the new coffee flavor, and next month's featured flavors.
