Possibility Concept Event Planning Website

Possibility Concepts: A Booking-Focused Website for a Nigerian Event Planning Company
Short description (the card blurb) A responsive Next.js website for an event planning company with 14 services, built around one goal: turning visitors into booking enquiries.
Case study
Client project. Possibility Concepts is an event planning company in Nigeria that offers everything from planning and decoration to catering, ushering, security, and live entertainment. I was the solo developer on the project, responsible for the page structure, front end build, and deployment.
The problem The company offers 14 services across weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and funerals. That range is a strength, but it is hard to present. A visitor could easily leave without understanding what the company does or how to get in touch. The site needed to show the full range, build trust with real event photography, and always keep the next step visible.
The approach
A hero that states the action: The first screen carries the brand name, a one line promise, and a “Book Your Event” button next to a secondary “Our Services” link, so visitors can either act immediately or keep exploring.
Booking buttons throughout the scroll: The same call to action appears in the navigation, the hero, the story section, and the footer, so the next step is within reach wherever the visitor is on the page.
A short company story: One section with a team photo, a brief introduction, and four key points (design, planning, execution, professional team) gives the company a human face without slowing down the page.
14 services in a scannable grid: Each service is a card with an icon, a title, and a one line description. This lets a visitor find what they need in seconds, whether that is a DJ, ushers, or full planning.
Portfolio as proof: A photo gallery of real events, each tagged with its category (wedding reception, live entertainment, catering), shows the quality of the work instead of only describing it.
Testimonials near the decision point: Three client quotes sit just before the contact section, where a visitor is deciding whether to reach out.
A focused enquiry form: Name, phone, email, event type, and a message field capture what the company needs to follow up. Contact details and Instagram sit beside it for visitors who prefer to call or message.
A brand-led look: Deep purple and gold give the site a premium, celebratory identity that stands out from generic event sites, and the type stays bold and readable.
My role Solo web developer. I handled the page structure, the front end development, the responsive layout, and the deployment on Vercel.
Stack Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TanStack (name the specific library, such as TanStack Query or Form), built in VS Code and deployed on Vercel.
Outcome The company now has a professional online presence and a direct way to receive event enquiries, with a layout that works on both phones and desktops.
