When I reviewed Addicted to Audio’s existing Shopify website, my goal was clear: improve conversion rates by directly addressing usability issues affecting customer interactions. Here’s what I found and fixed: → Small, closely packed call-to-action buttons were causing friction, particularly on high-impact areas like the homepage hero and footer. I increased button size and added strategic spacing in a bid to improve click accuracy and make interactions effortless.
→ An opportunity to categorise related navigation menu items. I restructured and introduced a few labels, making it more intuitive.
→ Visual inconsistencies between their high-end social media presence and their online store undermined customer trust. I realigned the store visuals to consistently reflect their premium brand positioning, enhancing credibility.
→ Accessibility barriers due to poor colour contrast limited usability. I resolved these issues to meet WCAG 2.1 standards, broadening the audience and improving engagement.
These targeted improvements will result in smoother customer journeys, increased user engagement, and a measurable uplift in conversions.
