Leave Tracking System Automation using Google forms & sheet

The project's objective was to automate the leave tracking system, which was previously a manual and paper-based process. The task at hand was to establish an efficient digital solution using either Excel or Power BI.To address this challenge, I devised a streamlined system. I designed a Google Form to serve as the leave application form, seamlessly connected to a Google Sheet for centralized data collection.Upon submission, the leave request details were automatically recorded in the Google Sheet. The pivotal step involved the leave approver, who, upon reviewing the request, updated the status to "approved" directly in the sheet. This action triggered an automated email notification to the requester.The email notification provided the applicant with real-time information on the status of their application and included their updated leave balance. This solution not only eliminated manual paperwork but also enhanced transparency and efficiency in the leave tracking process.
