Experts Circle is a private network of independent designers, developers, strategists, and platform specialists. As the network’s founder, I wanted to explore a better way to connect prospective clients with the experts best suited to their projects.

Instead of presenting visitors with a long directory and expecting them to determine who to contact, I designed and built Experts Circle Match—a functional app prototype that guides users through a short project intake and recommends the strongest expert matches.

Choosing a service provider is difficult when every expert offers a different combination of platforms, specialties, budgets, availability, and working styles.

A conventional directory would still leave the client responsible for comparing every profile. I wanted the experience to feel more like a guided introduction: answer a few straightforward questions and receive a concise, understandable set of recommendations.

The app needed to:

Collect the most important project requirements without overwhelming the user

Compare those requirements against expert capabilities and preferences

Rank the strongest matches

Explain why each expert was recommended

Give users an easy path to review or revise their answers

Feel credible, selective, and distinctly different from a generic software template

I handled the complete product concept and prototype, including:

Defining the business problem

Mapping the client intake journey

Determining the matching criteria

Structuring expert profile data

Designing the scoring and recommendation experience

Directing the visual identity and interface

Building and refining the functional prototype in Anything

Testing the complete user journey and improving unclear interactions

This was not simply a landing-page design. It required thinking through how user selections would influence the recommendations presented at the end of the experience.

The intake was intentionally limited to five questions:

What platform does the client need help with?

What are they looking to build?

What is their approximate budget?

When would they like to begin?

What type of support do they need most?

These questions capture enough information to produce a meaningful match while keeping the experience fast and approachable.

Once the intake is complete, the app presents three ranked experts. Each recommendation includes:

A match score

Availability

Typical project budget

Platform expertise

Core specialties

A personalized explanation of why the expert matched

A direct conversation prompt

The results also acknowledge imperfect matches. For example, an expert may be highly qualified but receive a lower score because their availability does not align with the client’s requested timeline. This makes the recommendations more transparent and useful than a simple list of names.

I used Anything to move from product idea to interactive prototype without beginning with a conventional design file or manually building the application from scratch.

The development process was highly iterative. I defined the experience in plain language, tested the generated interface, identified weak or incomplete interactions, and continued refining the application until the entire primary journey worked cohesively.

This included making the selection states functional, carrying answers through the complete intake, calculating differentiated match results, generating contextual explanations, and adding controls that allow users to edit their answers, restart the process, or copy their matches.

Anything accelerated the implementation, but the product strategy, matching model, content architecture, design direction, and quality control still required deliberate human judgment throughout the build.

I wanted Experts Circle Match to feel like a curated professional network rather than a generic SaaS quiz.

The interface uses strong editorial typography, warm neutral colors, understated borders, generous spacing, and restrained decorative details. Numbered questions and clear progress indicators give the intake a measured, intentional rhythm.

The results screen becomes more information-dense while preserving the same visual system, allowing expert profiles and matching explanations to remain easy to compare.

The finished prototype demonstrates a complete client-facing matching journey—from the initial introduction through project qualification and ranked expert recommendations.

It successfully transforms a complex referral decision into a guided, understandable experience while preserving the personal and selective nature of Experts Circle.

More importantly, it gave me a tangible way to test the product concept before investing in a full production system with account management, live expert availability, lead routing, and administrative tools.

The project demonstrates how AI-native development tools such as Anything can be used to rapidly explore a real business opportunity—not merely generate an interface, but build and validate a functional product experience.
