For my final project in my junior year package design class, I was tasked with designing packaging for a line of beverage products, including one limited edition box and can. I decided on sparkling water for my beverage, and decided on a bright, colorful aesthetic for the design. I love doodling, so bringing in doodle elements was an idea I had from the beginning. I took photos of various fruits to include on the can design and added line work over the photos. For the limited edition can, I decided to go with a New Year’s theme. I used similar design elements but used New Year’s themed colors, such as gold and black. I ended up with a fun, colorful, and vibrant line of sparkling water and, in the process, fell in love with package design.
