The New Zealand Writers Guild (NZWG) is a community representing the professional interests of writers across film, television, theatre, radio, comics, and new media in Aotearoa.

With over 40 years of experience, NZWG supports its members with advocacy, professional resources, and guidance to help screenwriters develop their careers.

Through initiatives like seed grants, script assessments, contract advice, and a best practice guide, NZWG empowers its members to tell their stories and thrive in the screen industry.

A fresh design was also necessary to reflect the Guild's professionalism and appeal to the wider creative industry.

Key features included a secure login system for members to access exclusive content, such as a members-only Producer’s List enabling direct connections with film and television producers. The site also integrated a section for grant applications, including details on available grants like Seed Grants, and the results of grant distributions to support writers in their professional journeys. Additionally, the website introduced a "Find a Writer" tool to showcase member profiles, streamlined navigation for usability, and a responsive design for seamless access across devices.
