Branding Concept Case study

The designer in me took a little evening trip exploring how I’d approach branding an AI agent. A distinctive identity, messaging, and tone to help it stand out in a noisy space.

I chose Agent v2 by Replit as my case study, especially after seeing how well they streamlined backend setup (which was a friction point for me). Their UX choices so far have been impressive.

For the logo, I built on their existing Agent logo but made it more distinctive, since the current one resembles a standard placeholder logo found in design systems. The key element that sparked this concept was a combination of a send-message arrow and the AI four-point star.

Since most apps use the same familiar icons, creating a custom symbol makes the branding more recognizable and turns it into a visual signature for "building with your AI agent by Replit."

For the messaging, I went for some punchy and distinctive tagline ideas.

This was a fun creative exercise in thinking beyond just “a logo” and designing an identity that actually sticks.
