SeqCenter, a DNA sequencing lab partnering with academic and industry researchers, needed a high-impact explainer video for their conference booth and website relaunch.
The goal: create a visually engaging animation that quickly communicates their expertise while reinforcing their approachable, client-focused reputation.
In just three weeks, I delivered a dynamic motion design piece that combines:
3D modeling – A custom-rendered DNA double helix to illustrate their sequencing capabilities.
Character animation – Emphasizing SeqCenter’s commitment to personal service.
Metaphoric storytelling – A petri dish morphing into the Earth to represent global reach; microbes transitioning into a human figure to depict their research applications.
This animation now serves as a powerful marketing tool, helping SeqCenter attract attention at events, strengthen their online presence, and communicate their value with clarity and impact.
Thanks to SeqCenter COO Jessica Furnier for her scriptwriting, clear feedback, and seamless collaboration on this project!
