Redesign of the SalmorejoTech website and branding, as well as Aula Software Libre, to update them, improve accessibility and hierarchy, while preserving their essence.
This project focuses on redesigning the website and branding for SalmorejoTech, a technology conference, and the website for its creator's identity, Aula Software Libre. The main objective was to modernize the image of the conference and its associated events, making them more appealing to young programmers.
SalmorejoTech needed to retain the essence of the name and its connection to the tradition of salmorejo, while Aula Software Libre had to preserve its color palette, which helped maintain consistency in the visual identity of both elements. However, the previous website presented serious accessibility and hierarchy issues, which hindered navigation and the user experience.
The redesign focused on improving accessibility and simplifying the information hierarchy, creating a clearer and more user-friendly interface. Additionally, the goal was to revitalize the overall aesthetic without losing the original identity, offering a fresh proposal while maintaining the key colors and elements associated with salmorejo.
This project demonstrates how an effective redesign can enhance the user experience and increase engagement, while still preserving the essence and legacy of the conference and its community.
