Back in 2013, I was created a light Labor Management System using Microsoft Access. This Access database would take an upload of transactional data from our Warehouse Management System, and use that transactional data along with master tables containing User/worker data to track productivity. By utilizing the transactional data, I was able to calculate time intervals per task per user, and was able to provide operations reporting on individual productivity. This allowed management to take a data-driven approach to managing their labor resources.
