Once upon a time...
I was working in a digital agency. I loved my job, I loved my colleagues and I loved the busyness of it all, the not-one-day-like-the-other experience.
And yet, something was missing. In between all the meetings, I realised that the impact I was making was mostly measured in digits, with a currency in front of them most of the time. The digital world is not someplace people occasionally visit for entertainment or a fast fact-checking, it's a world that grows with the day and it has its perks, but it also has its downsides.
I realised that I don't want to be part of the downside, but of its highest perks. Everything digital is artificial, there is no real nature, oxygen, or nutrients in there. But that does not mean that it cannot generate a huge impact on the real, physical world. Digital is a tool. A very powerful one. And I do believe that if we do our best and place people before profits, and impact before impressions, we can fully benefit from its power.
So I decided to spontaneously quit my job. Without having any idea what to do next, I just let things sort themselves out. And that's exactly what happened. Things fell into place, opportunities arose and now, every day, I wake up, knowing that I don't have a job, I have an ambition that I get to work on every single day.
Now I'm specialised in (e)motion-driven, people-first, mobile-second digital design
