Educational Handouts for Parent Awareness in Early Learning

The J’s Early Childhood Center is accredited to care for children and provide specialty and academic enrichment classes. The ECC director came to me as Senior Graphic Designer to create materials that could help potential parents understand the transition from infants, toddlers, two’s, three’s and pre-k. My goal was to show the differences between what the teacher is teaching in their class and what the parent might see when they bring their child home from school. Parents have a lot of questions about how their child is being educated and these handouts help them to understand it a bit better. By using a progression bar at the bottom from each age group, shows the steps the ECC is taking for their child and if they continue in this program they will see results.   The director informed me this has been a huge help when touring with potential families that want to join and loves the simplicity of the handouts.
