Teens and Tech - Educational Series

Create a series of animated videos summarizes and explaining the findings of scientific research on the subject of teen mental health in the age of Digital Media.

In close contact with the authors of the chapters and the project lead, I created scripts synthesizing the information and crafted a series of animated videos around each chapter's theme.

The style was designed to engage and hold the interest of teens and parents who may be helped by the information. I used bright, bold colors and backgrounds to add some visual interest, while creating a diverse set of characters to represent the different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives of the audience. The science was explained in visual metaphor, examples and character narrative.

Each video was meant to feel standalone and well-supported on its own merits, while also fitting into a cohesive whole that could be viewed together.
