Nicholas Ong is a horror genre author who needed a digital home that felt as atmospheric as his writing. The goal: a site to showcase his books, host a blog, and pull visitors into his world from the first scroll.

The hero section features a custom GSAP animation with moving books that sets the tone immediately. Throughout the site, hand-crafted ASCII illustrations add a layer of eerie texture that ties the visual identity back to the horror genre.

Designed in Figma, built in Webflow with GSAP powering the animations. Every interaction was built to feel immersive and slightly unsettling, matching the author's voice.
