My experience working with A-List Celebs(seriously tho)
My last job afforded me the great privilege to work with some amazing clients. This list consisted of some major A-list celebrities from the likes of Kevin Harrington, Les Brown, Daymond Jon, Sylvester Stallone, and Carmen Electra.
However, with that notoriety came inherent and unrelenting pressure. This is where I thrive after all, pressure cookers (at least I believe so ha!) It was still quite the challenge, however it felt good to go through all of that and make it out alive! It was an invaluable experience, which I would love to still be doing now. However, the agency actually closed down sadly :( Thus, the contra profile haha!
The Problem
These clients didn't necessarily have a "problem", rather that we ended up signing and taking on their online marketing presence. Each was looking to start something new or expand where and how they reach new customers. While every celebrity came with their own tech stack...Most builds involved the following:
Facebook Ads/ Conversion Api Setup
Setup the facebook conversion api where applicable. This was usually the beginning step, as every decision would be made as a result of this data.
Never used the actual pixel itself (as the stats are garbage, thanks IOS 14 lol) but rather we did all of our calculations off real time sales from the CRM.
Zapier has a direct integration with FB ads now, so u can simply set-up conversions there. Which looked something like the following... below
MORE DATA STEPS CONTINUE BELOW THIS IS THE BEGINNING PART
Sales Funnels (x4/5 pages each)
Each consisted of the following setup (for the most part). Lander, Checkout, Book A Call, Booking Confirmation etc.
Differed per celeb and may be one or two more pages sometimes but this was the crux of what we built for them.
Landing/Sales Page (#1)
First page in the sales funnel, usually the most graphic and longer form as well.
Checkout - Questionnaire or Payment Processor Integration (#2)
Checkout page, usually packed with multiple upsells as well
Hooked to the payment processor of choice (these were usually Authorize.net)
Questionnaire was usually done via typeform
Call Booking - Calendar Integration (#3)
Clients who purchased were then hit with a call booking page so they could schedule a meet to discuss their recent purchase and get free coaching or discuss their path forward.
During the call, a team member would pitch them on some of the higher ticket stuff. This usually resulted in solid backend revenue, that remained steady relatively.
Call Confirmation - Thank You Page (#4)
If the client decided to book a call with a team member they would be hit with a thank you page that contained details to their next meet.
We used this page and it usually contained video about their upcoming meet and gave them useful details to prepare them.
Automations - KEAP
Clients were tagged, put into lists & sequences inside of keap. Some of these automations were very complex as of the sheer volume we were dealing with.
Clickfunnels Membership (sometimes or Teachable)
Clients were tagged and memberships were granted via make.com automations and leads profiles kept up to date in Keap.
Data Continued: Database Management
Most database management was done in google sheets as it's just easier to manipulate the data especially if you know some halfway good scripts (or how to write js ).
Super easy to write some custom JS for whatever you need to do stats wise. This is also FREE! Things like auto slack notifications, pulling data directly from FB CAPI, etc.
All data was realtime, meaning the automations from make.com
Our clients were given weekly progress reports that started off in google sheets then we built dashboards in google data studio and finally suped them up later on
Bonus: Custom JS in Google App-script
Created custom bits of code that would accomplish various small automations tasks such as send out txt messages hours with stats from Facebook etc
