Memory in the Blood is an artist's book, whose main objective is to become a revealing source of an unexpressed family secret, supported by the transgenerational theory. It is a biographical piece that works as a container, which compiles testimonials and illustrations to show and reveal, in its total volume, the hidden secret about incest, sexual abuse and rape suffered in the skin of María Alejandra Cox Ureta (my mother).

La memoria en la Sangre es un libro de artista, cuyo objetivo principal es convertirse en fuente reveladora de un secreto familiar no expresado, apoyado por la teoría del transgeneracional. Es una pieza biográfica que funciona como un contenedor, el cual recopila testimonos e ilustraciones para mostrar y desvelar, en su volumen total, el secreto oculto sobre incestos, abusos sexuales y violaciones sufridas en la propia piel de María Alejandra Cox Ureta (mi madre).
