Walkaroo had signed South Indian cinema star Keerthy Suresh as their brand ambassador and needed 4 campaign films across 3 product ranges: Walkaroo, Walkaroo Festive Season, Walkaroo Flip-Flopz, and Walkaroo Sportz, all within 2 half-day sessions.
The Challenge
4 concepts. 3 product ranges. 1 celebrity. 4 hours across 2 days. The schedule left zero margin for error. Shooting in the heart of Kochi with one of South India's most recognisable faces created an additional layer of complexity: crowd control became a production problem in its own right.
The Approach
The only viable solution was green screen, shooting Keerthy against a controlled backdrop to maximise output within the time constraint. The exception was the dance concept, which required live dancers and was shot against a white set. Every moment of the shoot was pre-planned to the minute.
Production
It was a marathon. The entire crew worked through day and night across both sessions to hold the schedule together. Managing Keerthy's call times, coordinating crowd control in a busy urban location, and keeping 4 distinct concepts visually separate while shooting back-to-back made this one of the most demanding productions I've undertaken. We delivered.
Post-Production
All 4 films were turned around in 2 weeks, edited, finished, and dubbed across 5 regional languages. The pace matched the production intensity.
The Result
4 campaign films delivered on time, on budget, across 5 languages. The films collectively garnered hundreds of thousands of views, a measurable outcome for a campaign built under extraordinary constraints.
