ACare Group

ACare is a team of skilled tradesmen who needed a website to expand their client base. For over 20 years, they relied solely on word-of-mouth referrals, but as the industry evolved, they recognised the need for a strong digital presence to stay competitive and attract new clients.

The goal of the website was to showcase ACare’s expertise, highlight past projects through a gallery, and provide an easy way for potential clients to get in touch.

With the primary goal in mind, I began working on the design, focusing on presenting information in the most effective way. While aesthetics are important, the main priority for a website like this is to deliver useful information to the user quickly and efficiently.

To achieve this, I prioritised the overall presentation, using a sans-serif font that enhances readability and aligns with contemporary web design standards.

I also noticed that many competitors were dedicating a separate page to each service type, which I felt was unnecessary and made the site harder to scan. Instead, I opted for a more streamlined approach, I ensured it was easy for users to find ACare’s services without needing to navigate through multiple pages.

To further improve usability, I made the locations served easy to find on the homepage, featuring a map image with highlighted areas where ACare operates. Additionally, I included a contact form at the bottom of each page, ensuring that users can reach out no matter where they are on the site.
