Events Coordinator

I facilitated a significant and important event called the Academic Staff Orientation whereby new academic staff from the Vaal University of Technology were welcomed and taught about the different services that VUT has to offer. I was responsible for the graphics designing of the marketing materials like the posters, ensuring that the marketing material in on social media and checking the engagements of the posts. I also ensured the participants and presenters were contacted. The decors and catering were also part of my duties. The overall overseeing of the event was my duty. After the event, it was my duty to ensure the branding and the venue is up to the standards of how we found it. After the event, I had to send out evaluation forms to the attendees as well as the presentors.
