This was a personal project during my time at Emily Carr + BCIT. As an First Generation Egyptian immigrant, I chose to create a publication displaying my family history, common cultural phrases and idioms in the Arabic language. The goal is to celebrate and showcase the intricacies of Egyptian culture through the use of language and imagery.
Personal Note: This publication in progress, working with my family to properly translate the phrases into Arabic. Placeholder Arabic text is currently being used.
