HP is expanding its focus on software with the launch of HP Build Workspace, a cloud collaboration platform designed to bring AEC stakeholders closer together.

As a Design Lead, I played a pivotal role in developing HP Build Workspace, a groundbreaking cloud-based platform designed to streamline construction workflows and enhance collaboration. My responsibilities included:

User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI): Conducting user research to understand the needs of construction professionals and designing intuitive interfaces for the AI conversion tool within the ecosystem of the other collaborative services and tools.

Leading Google campaigns: Optimizing SEO strategies, or employing data-driven approaches, I'm all about driving results that align with the company objectives and KPIs.

Data Analysis and Research: Collecting and analyzing data to present to development team and stakeholders and ensure optimal performance, Responsible for user research of target market/country and put forward professional suggestions and make products more user-friendly.

Team Leadership and Collaboration: Leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration to deliver a cohesive solution.

Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicating project progress and gathering valuable feedback.

Innovation and Ideation: Identifying opportunities for innovation and facilitating creative problem-solving.

My contributions were instrumental in the development of the AI-powered raster to vector conversion tool, which significantly improved efficiency and accuracy in drawing distribution and management. I also helped to integrate the tool into a comprehensive platform that streamlines site observations, field reports, and real-time feedback.

The aim of the platform is to improve communication between the office and construction site and automate manual processes. It can be accessed via desktop or mobile app.

Through my leadership and expertise, I contributed to HP Build Workspace's success in transforming the construction industry by optimizing workflows, enhancing collaboration, and driving productivity. Taking advantage of my background in architecture and mixing both passions, I was able to interview many architects, engineers, interior designers, and contractors to contribute to the mission of HP incubation team to build such a complex platform in a short time and with a centric focus approach.

HP Build Workspace features HP Print AI capabilities, enabling AEC professionals to ‘vectorize’ raster drawings, capture and organise site observations, share plans, enable real-time feedback and automate site reports.

The ‘one click’ raster to vector conversion tool is currently in beta. It uses AI to automatically convert scanned drawings into DXF files.

Site observations can be captured through the mobile app. Users can add tags, markups, written or voice notes. Photos can be pinned to floorplans for easy location. Pictures and logs can be selected to generate automated reports.

HP Build Workspace also integrates with HP SitePrint, a robot that prints 2D plans onto the floors of construction sites.
